CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)
We at Varvaressos understand that corporate social responsibility is vital for our people, partners, society, and the environment.
As a result, we adjust our business strategy in order to impact society and the environment in a positive way.
Our company is our people, that’s why we provide them with all the tools they need for self-and team-improvement, constantly educating them not just in matters of production, marketing, HR etc, but also in regard to health and safety in our workplace and the latest PPE.
And our people are giving back!

We are proud that we at
Varvaressos have our own
blood bank,
which is supported by the regular blood
donations of our people.
We support small local businesses and the local community,
cultural associations, police and fire
departments.
Minimizing the
environmental impact of
our business activity
along with the total environmental footprint
of the supply chains that we have created
with our partners is of great importance to
us. The preservation of natural resources
is of equal importance.
We have close links
with Universities and
schools,
contributing to their research and
keeping our manufacturing facilities open
for educational visits.
We source our raw
materials responsibly,
thoroughly checking and testing them
according to our standards regarding
sustainability, ethical production and social
justice.
Our spinning process is
environmentally
friendly,
using energy from renewable sources
and reusing rainwater.
We have a Zero Waste
policy, recycling
and making sure that all our
by-products are put into good use by
our partners.
We prove our commitment to the environment!
We constantly monitor the whole production
process and grant our social and environmental
responsibility with certifications such as ISO 14001
and the latest STeP by OEKO-TEX, that require
strict compliance with the highest standards
available.
